Today, Sadiq Khan began his new job as Mayor of London, following a landslide victory in last week’s elections.

The Labour Party’s former Tooting MP won 1,310,143 votes in the election on Thursday 5th May, placing him far ahead of his Conservative Party rival, Zac Goldsmith, who received 994,614 votes. Boris Johnson’s successor will also be under pressure to retain London’s international appeal in the business community.
