Furthermore, sales are expected to continue their rise over the next three months with a net balance of 35 percent more respondents predicting transaction levels will grow (from +26 percent).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">A key driver behind this jump in activity is the recent upturn in buyers testing the market. Interest from would-be buyers has now risen for four consecutive months and, during May, 30 percent more chartered surveyors reported rises rather than falls in new buyer enquiries. This represents the highest reading since October 2009 and is a sign that market confidence is gradually being restored.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">Meanwhile, prices up edged last month with five percent more chartered surveyors reporting increases rather than decreases. Until recent months price stability has been confined largely to the South East of England and <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/london\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/london;http:\/\/sws.geonames.org\/2643743\/;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.04jpl;http:\/\/yago-knowledge.org\/resource\/London;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/London\" >London<\/a>, whereas now this is beginning to extend to other areas of the UK.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">Moreover, with the sales market maintaining its slow recovery, chartered surveyors also expect <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"House price index\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/house-price-index\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/house_price_index;http:\/\/yago-knowledge.org\/resource\/House_price_index;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.0gn3x3;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/House_price_index\" >house prices<\/a> to rise over the coming three months, with a net balance of 20 percent more respondents predicting growth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin: .1pt 0cm .1pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: Tahoma; color: black;\">Moving on to the rental market, tenant demand continued to rise during May, although the <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Rates (tax)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/rates-tax\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/rates_tax;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.03hnzm;http:\/\/yago-knowledge.org\/resource\/Rates_(tax);http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Rates_(tax)\" >rate<\/a> of growth has begun to slow in the last few months.
