However, a couple from Derbyshire have opened the doors to their new venture having spent a decade converting such a tank into a luxury holiday cottage.<\/div>\n<div>Jim and Lisa Hardy bought the tank, dating back to 1909, from Severn Trent Water. While they were originally planning to use the structure for storage, they have spent ten years converting it into a beautiful holiday <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"cottages\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/cottage\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/cottage;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.03nxtz;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Cottage\" >cottage<\/a>. However, based on a sketch drawn on the back of an envelope, the couple have completely refurbished the disused tank which has now become Cambridge Lodge, a luxury holiday villa.<\/div>\n<div>The holiday home, which has <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Storey\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/storey\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/storey;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.02vk6kk;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Storey\" >floors<\/a> below ground level, now sleeps six people and boasts wi-fi and Smart TV and costs from 386 a week.<\/div>\n<div>Jim said: &#8220;At first we thought it might be useful for storage.
