Keep reading to find out more.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">Justone in seven borrowers are satisfied with their lender<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><b><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">A new survey from YouGov has discovered that p<span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">eople<\/span> become increasingly less satisfied with the mortgage application process the further they get along it. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">A new report says that only around one third of people with a mortgage were satisfied with the application stage of the <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"homes\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/home\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/home;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.01l0mw;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Home\" >home<\/a> loan process while only 18 per cent were satisfied with the offer and completion stage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">The research also revealed that just 14 per cent of mortgage holders are satisfied with their providers after they have become customers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">&#8220;The bad news for providers is that most people dislike most parts of getting a mortgage,&#8221; said Tom Rees, UKResearch Manager at <a title=\"\" href=\"http:\/\/yougov.co.uk\/news\/2014\/06\/05\/most-mortgage-applicants-dissatisfied-experience\/\" target=\"\">YouGov<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">&#8220;The good news is that customers are pretty clear about what can be done to make the experience a happier one. For example,providers would improve perceptions of the application stage by giving applicants more personal control over the whole mortgage process. At the financial stage speeding up the decision-making process would prove popular. And once people have mortgages, lenders could improve things by increasing the level and quality of contact with their customers.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 12.0pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: Georgia;\">Recent news reports suggest that the mortgage process may actually be getting more stressful.
