Lugosi lived in this home for a decade, until it became the property of actress Martha O&#8217;Driscoll, who, surprisingly enough, starred in <i><a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"houses\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/house\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/house;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.03jm5;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/House\" >House<\/a> of Dracula<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">The house&#8217;s next owner, however, is even more surprising. None other than the &#8216;Sultan of Swoon&#8217; himself, Frank Sinatra. It was where he lived with the first of his three wives, Ava Gardner, and it was the first home they lived in together.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">If one had the money for this type of place, how could they resist a property with connections to two tremendous stars? And with its location, overlooking the city, and in close proximity to other celebrity homes like those of Ben Stiller and Salma Hayek, and with four bedrooms and three bathrooms, it is a property truly fitting for a celebrity lifestyle.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">It was last sold in May 2012 for approximately $1 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"margin-bottom: 0cm;\"><span size=\"3\" style=\"font-size: medium;\">Other properties owned by Lugosi and Sinatra have recently been on sale too. Lugosi&#8217;s Castle La Paloma (sadly not the type of castle Bram Stoker wrote about) in Beachwood Canyon was on sale for $4.17 million.
