Though it\u2019s not set to launch until 2018, the estate agency predicts <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=194&amp;search=Ealing+London+Boro%2C+Greater+London&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">property prices in Acton<\/a> will rocket by 15% to 20% when the Elizabeth Line is complete.<\/p>\n<p>In second place is King&#8217;s Cross, particularly north of the station where large investment projects have been completed or are under way. The firm says King&#8217;s Cross is quickly establishing itself as the hotspot for cultural and commercial activity.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Home\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/home\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/home;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.01l0mw;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Home\" >homes<\/a> and especially <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=36068&amp;search=King%27s+Cross%2Fst+Pancras+Station%2C+Greater+London&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">luxury flats in King\u2019s Cross<\/a> are already setting record highs for their sales prices in the area.<\/p>\n<h2>Area is set to be &#8216;transformed&#8217;<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=410&amp;search=Southwark+London+Boro%2C+Greater+London&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">Elephant and Castle<\/a> comes in at third place which, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/compare-estate-agents\" title=\"estate agents\">estate agents<\/a> admit, has not been the most appealing area for many but with a \u00a33 billion <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/redevelopment\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/redevelopment;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.04lcr1f;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Redevelopment\" >redevelopment<\/a> programme underway the area is set to be &#8216;transformed&#8217; for its property offering.<\/p>\n<p>Next on the list for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=35924&amp;search=Oval+Station%2C+Greater+London&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">property investment is Oval\/Stockwell<\/a> which merits its place because the Tube is being extended to Battersea with the establishment of two new stations at Battersea power station and Nine Elms by 2020.<\/p>\n<p>In fifth place is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=35952&amp;search=Streatham+Common+Station%2C+Greater+London&amp;radius=1&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">Streatham which is increasingly attracting home buyers<\/a> since it&#8217;s cheaper than nearby Balham and Clapham. Excellent transport links and good schools also boost its popularity.<\/p>\n<p>Not only have property prices there risen by 10% over the past year, but the <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Estate agent\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/estate-agent\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/estate_agent;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.02dzpr;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Estate_agent\" >estate agents<\/a> are forecasting another 5% rise this year too.<\/p>\n<p>Property investors are also enjoying average rental yields on property of 4.4% which is helping it become South London&#8217;s &#8216;buy to let capital&#8217;.<\/p>\n<h2>A cheaper alternative to Clapham<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=35909&amp;search=Brixton+Station%2C+Greater+London&amp;radius=1&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">Property in Brixton<\/a> makes it into sixth place as a cheaper alternative to Clapham where prices are set to rise 5% this year.<\/p>\n<p>In seventh place is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=36037&amp;search=Archway+Station%2C+Greater+London&amp;radius=1&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">Archway where property investors are looking<\/a> because it&#8217;s cheaper than nearby Camden and prices are expected to grow by 5% here as well. In addition, traffic flows are set to be improved with new work to remove the unloved one-way system.<\/p>\n<p>The eighth place for top London property investment hotspot is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale?autocomplete-selection=31653&amp;search=Tottenham%2C+Greater+London&amp;radius=1&amp;price-min=&amp;price-max=&amp;bedrooms=&amp;type-of-property=&amp;sort-by=most-recent&amp;items-per-page=20\">Tottenham Hale where first-time buyers<\/a> are, apparently, flocking and those who cannot afford to buy choose to rent there instead. It&#8217;s still a cheap area for property and renting and close to the city of London with moves to improve the area under way.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>There&#8217;s no doubt that London&#8217;s property market is still undergoing a boom and demand for rental homes is still set to grow strongly in the years to come which makes property investment in these areas an increasingly attractive
