In that order.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: black; font-size: 10pt;\">The global financial crisis has left many people concerned about their pension provision as high profile \u2018pension shortfall\u2019 cases have made the national news.\u00a0Billions have been wiped off the <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Value (economics)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/value-economics\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/value_economics;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.0bhr4z;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Value_(economics)\" >value<\/a> of pension funds leaving many people unsure of how they will fund their retirement.<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: black; font-size: 10pt;\">So, perhaps it is no surprise that a recent survey has found that the proportion of parents who would advise their children to invest in <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\"  href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/property\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/property;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.05wrt;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Property\" >property<\/a> to provide for their retirement is now greater than those who suggest contributing to a pension.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: black; font-size: 10pt;\">Property a good way to save for retirement<\/span> <\/strong><\/p>\n<div><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana; color: black; font-size: 10pt;\">The research from insurance company LV= found that 54 per cent of over-50s would tell their children that property is a good way to save for their retirement.\u00a0This compares to just 53 per cent who would recommend paying into a traditional pension scheme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;
