For \u00a3250,000, you could buy a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale\/camden-nw1-camden-nw1-9ap\/1983863\">studio flat in Camden Town<\/a>, or travel a little further north and get a spacious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-for-sale\/manchester-greater-manchester-manchester-m1-6bd\/1920178\">two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in a converted period building in Manchester.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>But, according to a recent survey run by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hometrack.com\/uk\">Hometrack<\/a>, it seems as though <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"House price index\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/house-price-index\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/house_price_index;http:\/\/yago-knowledge.org\/resource\/House_price_index;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.0gn3x3;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/House_price_index\" >house prices<\/a> in the South of England are cooling down while the <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"Real estate economics\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thehouseshop.com\/property-blog\/real-estate-economics\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0502\/entity\/real_estate_economics;http:\/\/rdf.freebase.com\/ns\/m.04t2q1;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Real_estate_economics\" >housing market<\/a> in the North is hotting up. This comes after the lead up to, and result of, the EU referendum, which saw house sales in the South of Britain slow down, with London sales decreasing by 8% in the past 3 months.
