No shoes to be worn in the room, only slippers.\r\n\r\nWe live in a quiet neighbourhood in a conservation area with many local shops and amenities nearby and 3 minutes from the bus stop which takes 4 minutes to Turnpike Lane or Wood Green tube stations on the Piccadilly line. The journey to the centre of London would be about 20 minutes. The Piccadilly line is frequent and trains run about every 2/3 minutes. Bus 29 is a also a night bus running throughout the night from Trafalgar Square to Wood Green every 8 minutes. Wood Green Shopping City is a very popular area attracting people from far to shop. I live with my son who is 29 and we are often a host family to students from around the world. The single room is very spacious, bright and quiet and has a big built-in wardrobe to fit all your belongings including suitcases. It can be used as a twin room too with advanced warning.
