Create these stylish accessories by using twine and wrapping it around the bottle, then sewing on the decoration that you want. It’s fun and so easy to do and it will add that extra touch of decoration. You could also use different colour glass paints and play around with that.

2. DIY Stool

This is perfect if you have children or if you have high cupboards to reach, you can add a huge splash of colour to your hallway or kitchen for a very small price.

It is likely that you will be able to find a stool similar to the one pictured in your local DIY store. All you need to do then, is decide on which colour paint you would like to use that will fit in with the furniture you already have. You could even get the children to help you for a fun Saturday afternoon!

3. DIY Heart Garland

This would be cute in a girl’s bedroom and it is so easy to make. If you are in your local DIY store, pick up some paint chart samples in various colours, you will probably need quite a few depending on how large you want to make the garland. You will also need a heart shaped hole punch, you can get that in most stationary stores, some string and a needle.

Stamp out as many hearts as you want from the paint charts, then using the needle and string, thread the string through the hearts to make your garland!

The great thing about this is that you can use any colours that you want and make it as short or as long as you want! The perfect pop of colour for any room, no matter the shape or size.
